ADULTS

I have been working with adults in the NHS since 2011. I have offered both short-term and long-term therapy - using an integrative approach. This means that depending on your concerns, I will use a therapeutic perspective that we think will be most fitting and helpful for you. I specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, but also frequently draw on Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Our first session together will be an assessment session. This initial appointment is an opportunity for us to explore a little about your life story and what has brought you to therapy. You are welcome to tell me as much or as little as you wish. By the end of the session we can agree on how best to proceed, discussing goals and the therapeutic approach.

I offer private therapy sessions for the following concerns:

  • Abuse (Emotional/Sexual/Physical)

  • Addiction

  • Anger Management

  • Anxiety (Including: PanicSocial Anxiety, Phobias, & Generalised Anxiety)

  • Assertiveness/Confidence building

  • Bereavement/Loss

  • Depression/Low Mood

  • Drug and/or Alcohol Use

  • Hopelessness

  • Identity

  • Life stage transition issues

  • Low Self-esteem/Confidence

  • Obsessive and Compulsive Disorders

  • Relationships

  • Sexuality

This is not an exhaustive list of issues but whatever you wish to discuss will be handled sensitively and in confidence.
