ABOUT ME

I am an experienced and qualified Counselling Psychologist, chartered with the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Westminster University, a Masters Degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from King's College London, and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of East London.

Since 2008 I have worked in various mental health settings both in the US and the UK. I have experience of working in the private sector, the National Health Service, and the charitable sector. I have worked with adults, families, young people, children, and groups - in areas ranging from a specialist inpatient child and adolescent eating disorders unit, a brain injury ward, a neurological psychiatric ward, an inpatient adult forensic secure unit, an outpatient and community HIV service, an IAPT service, an outpatient domestic violence service for young people, and a generic child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS).

I offer individual talking therapy for adults, adolescents, and children with a range of psychological and emotional concerns.
As traditional talking therapies for younger children can sometimes be more challenging, I also offer play therapy.
In working with children and young people, I also work with parents and families.

In addition I also offer supervision and personal therapy for trainee therapists.
